Sage Hospitality will continue to manage the hotel following the sale, according to a news release from Xenia. The company owns 49 hotels comprising 13,054 rooms across 20 states and the District of Columbia, and has a majority interest in two hotels under development. The expansion also includes the construction of a new six-story wing featuring 96 additional guest rooms, more than 7,000 square feet of indoor meeting space, nearly 1,700 square feet of outdoor patio space and a three-level parking garage. The hotel is in close proximity to Fenway Park and Boston University and, upon completion of its current expansion project, will include 245 rooms. The transaction is expected to close in early 2016. The hotel will continue to be managed by Sage Hospitality.
