Giovanna sells UAL 55.42: The airline recently announced a deal with Visa and JPMorgan, through which passengers can earn points on the use of credit cards.

Furthermore, the airline is looking to offer new flights to other regions as well to increase its passenger base and boost its unit revenue. Delta aims to offer more code-sharing flights to different parts of China to expand its market share. Aircraft manufacturers expect China to purchase a vast majority of new aircraft in the next 20 years. Airlines around the world are scrambling to cater to the expanding Chinese market. The plans to launch new flights to China do not come as a surprise though.

In order to operate flights on the route, United has applied for approval from the Department of Transportation, following which the airline plans to initiate non-stop seasonal flights from San Francisco to Xian.

United Airlines will soon become the first airline to offer direct flights to the destination, which has a high tourism rate, as per the company's press release.

Credit Suisse reduced their price objective on shares of United Continental Holdings from $69.00 to $68.00 in a report on Friday, June 19th.

Equities analysts predict that United Continental Holdings will post $11.22 earnings per share for the current year.

During the same quarter last year, the company earned $2.34 earnings per share.
