Mellie buys EMR 44.19: Conditions also are slowing because of emerging markets and the continued strength of the U.S. dollar.

Its sales have been declining due to the impact of lower oil prices in both energy-related markets and the oil and gas industry. The company is currently operating in five business segments: Process Management, Industrial Automation, Network Power, Climate Technologies and Commercial and Residential Solutions. A look at Emerson's business model and its fundamentals can provide a clear picture of the company's potential to sustain returns. In fact, I believe that Emerson's share price may even fall further over the coming days. Therefore, I'm not viewing the recent major dip in its share price as a buying opportunity.

Crissy:
Historically, Emerson has been among the favorite stocks for defensive investors due to its consistent high dividend yield.

Yoshie:
Its share price was slashed almost 31% in the past 12 months on concerns directly related to falling activities in the energy sector and negative currency translations.

Jessica:
As a result, at the end of the second quarter, we can see that several industrial companies have reduced their full-year sales and earnings forecasts.

Christi:
All these factors are negatively impacting sales and earnings targets across the board.

Beulah:
In addition to the sudden downturn in the oil and gas industry, large multinational companies also are experiencing currency exchange challenges due to the strengthening of the dollar.

Ozella:
However, since the start of this year, industrial stocks have been tumbling due to a deceleration of economic growth across the globe.

Bettie:
The industrial sector has shown a lot of momentum over the past three years.

Layla:
Its share price has fallen significantly, but this sell-off is not presenting a buying opportunity.

Allyson:
Committed to understanding the needs of customers and channel partners, Metro provides innovative solutions that optimize space, improve workflow and user efficiency.

Mona:
It has 55 manufacturing facilities in 14 countries and sales and service subsidiaries throughout Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
